I get a lot of customer asking me the same question; If our deals are so great, why are we not selling them online ourselves.
First of all, we do sell on amazon. We do believe in the deals we post. We do invest in some of the deals that are on the site. And, we are making money on all of them (Thank God).
That being said, we do have a few good reasons to sell the deals to you instead of buying them ourselves:
- We do not have the capital to buy every deal that comes across our plate. There are way too many deals out there.
- We are using our capital to invest in a better, more secure site with an amazing customer experience.
- Our goal is to be a wholesale platform. While we are not quite there yet, but we are on the way. If we were to get heavily involved with an amazon store operation, our goal of streamlining wholesale will never come to fruition. Our team would be too busy overseeing that aspect of the business to really focus on getting things done for our site.
- Our forte is not in retailing product. We have no interest in selling items at a retail level. Our interest lies in wholesaling and facilitating trade.
- We know trade and wholesale well. There are many aspects of a deal that are often time overlooked such as; shipping, item condition, lead times, payments, etc. While things may still go wrong when using us to buy deals, your odds of not having issues are greatly reduced. The same thing cannot be said about us retailing. We do not know the first thing when it comes to that arena. Therefore, we try our best to avoid buying and retailing inventory.
